You subscribe to BorneoCRM by accessing
http://www.borneosoft.com.
You can choose Standard Edition with 1GB storage or Free Edition with
100MB storage by clicking the appropriate link. You will be brought to
the subscription page, where you will need to enter the following:
When the Free Edition is selected, the
maximum number of users is 2. The limit is removed when the accounts
are upgraded to Standard Edition. There is no limit on the number of
users for Standard Edition.
Both Standard Edition and Free Edition
allow you to choose sub-domain under borneosoft.com. For example, if
you use sub-domain yourcompany, your email will be yourname@yourcompany.borneosoft.com.
If you choose Standard Edition, you can
use your own domain to host your email with us. For example, if you
own domain yourcompany.com, you can host your email yourname@yourcompany.com
with Borneosoft. To be able to do this, you need to update your name
server record in your DNS hosting provider. We will assist you to do
this, please send us email at support@borneosoft.com

You have to enter your own valid email
address. This could be your company email address or your other email
address. You must not enter email address that uses sub-domain of
borneosoft.com, such as yourname@yourcompany.borneosoft.com
for Free Edition. In case you forget your password, you can ask for
password reset instruction to be sent to this email address. Security
question and answer are used in the event you forget your username and
password and, for some reason, you don't have access to the email
address you provide during subscription. You need to use security
question and answer that are unique and not commonly nor publicly
known.
You need to select Country that
corresponds to the locality of your business. The country selection
will determine the regional setting such as currency and date format.
BorneoCRM is capable of operating in
multiple timezones. For example, your business headquarter is in Los
Angeles, USA (Timezone: US/Pacific, PDT, UTC-8), you need to set your
timezone to US/Pacific (PDT) UTC-8. This will become your company
timezone in the system. If you have employee that works in different
timezone, they can set their own timezone differently from the company
timezone.
You need to enter the word that is
displayed in the Word Verification section. If you can't read it you
can click 'I can't read it', it will generate new
phrase. Click 'Next' to continue your subscription.

If you make mistakes, the mistakes will
be displayed in red. Password and word verification are always to be
reentered everytime mistakes are made.

total monthly payment amount for Standard Edition is shown in the
Order Details.
Please read the terms of service
agreement carefully. If you don't accept the terms of service
agreement and you click 'I don't accept', the profile
you just entered will be removed from our system. If you need to make
some correction, you can click 'Go Back'.
When the information you provided is
correct, you need to click 'I accept. Let me use
Borneosoft CRM Free Edition' for Free Edition. You will receive an
activation email where you can activate your account, see Figure
4: Subscription Final Page (Free Edition). Inside the activation
email, you need to click the link to activate your account (see Figure
5: Activation Email for Free Edition). You will then be redirected to
your newly created activated account, see Figure

For Standard Edition, you need to click
'I accept. Proceed to make Payment'. You will be brought
to PayPal payment page (see Figure 8: PayPal -
Payment Page). If you already have PayPal account you can login to
your PayPal account and make a subscription payment. Otherwise you can
click 'Use your credit card or bank account (where
available)' and you will need to enter your credit card information
(see Figure 9: PayPal -
Credit Card Payment). Click 'Continue' to go to the
PayPal account creation page (see Figure 10: PayPal -
Account Creation) where you need to enter your email address and your
PayPal password. A PayPal account will be created for you. You can
login to this PayPal account to monitor your monthly subscription
payment in the future.
