How do we increase deliverability of my newsletter/marketing campaign?
1. Always get express consent from the recipients. Our newsletter provides a link for public to subscribe to the newsletter. For example:
http://www.borneosoft.com/Borneosoft/_public/subscribenewsletter.jsp?newslettername=newsletter&module=contact&itemname=newsletter
2. You can also set inferred consent to the contact, but express consent take precedence over inferred consent. When express consent is revoked, newsletter will not be sent to the recipient that has revoked his/her express consent, even though inferred consent is still set.
3. Our delivery system uses SPF: Sender Policy Framework that tells other mail servers that the emails' from addresses are from our delivery system.
4. In accordance to spam act, our newsletter automatically add the sender name/email and organization/company address to each newsletter sent. It also automatically check for the unsubscribe link. Without them the newsletter can't be sent.
5. Always identify yourself clearly. You can't send newsletter to someone that you know using different name or organization. The recipient will most likely to categorize your newsletter as spam.

What happens when you move some emails that are part of conversation into Trash folder?
The conversation remains intact but those emails that are moved into Trash folder are greyed out.

Email Address Auto Complete
You can just click on the to, cc or bcc box and type part of the name. It will search and display in real time the email addresses that match what you type.

Session Expired
Sometimes, when you click folder you will be presented with logon page:
The logon page appears because your session has expired. If there is no activity for more than 45 minutes, your browser session will expire. And if anyone tries to use it, e.g. clicking one of the folder, the logon box will appear. This will protect your account when you are away for too long.

Do you know that you can customize the lookups?
Another feature to meet your requirement, lookup customization.
You need to be the superuser to customize lookup. Select menu Setting -> Lookup.
Various lookup is shown in this window:
The built-in lookup (represented with cog icon) cannot be deleted but it can be made hidden from user's view. Any lookup item that has been used (represented with lock icon), cannot be deleted. If any lookup cannot be deleted but it is no longer in use, it can be made hidden from user view.
You can add customized lookup by clicking toolbar button New, enter the label/description and value (if there is any) and click Save.
The users now will see the new lookup and able to use it.

Here are the simple steps:

Schedule reminder to touch base with customer on the first weekday every month
If you want to schedule reminder to touch base with customer on the first weekday every month:
1. Set the schedule and add the customer's contact.
2. Record any conversation with the customer.
3. You can always see the history of the conversation (update).
